The Eurasian Tree Sparrow is a small, distinctive bird that resides in Singapore and can be seen in our everyday lives, at our homes, in parks, at hawker centres, and on the fringes of sports facilities. The artist loves seeing these sparrows as they give her a sense of lightness, creativity and freedom, reminding her of her own precious and unique humanity that is apart from whatever demands this world may have of her.
